COPER intends to offer intensive and exhaustive training in the field of Psychosocial Oncology through class room teachings, seminars, Journal clubs, and role play while the clinical internships provide hands-on practical training in cancer management in cancer hospitals.

The first batch of students have joined the 1-year Diploma in Psycho-oncology. After 3-months of rigorous theory lectures in oncology, psycho-oncology and related aspects, the country's first batch of 4 students have started their 9-month clinical training in cancer hospitals in Bangalore from Feb 2008.

  • Net exam qualified
